Hohner Imperial IIA - Ivory (Accordion and Case)
- late 1930's to mid 1940's
Great sound and quite loud for the size it is. Small and easy to travel with. Priced by Liberty Billows at around 0 without the case
but it does have a few problems:
One of the "I" have peeled off of where it says "IIA"
a 3-4 reeds have worn out and should be replaced
Straps are old and worn
Hand strap has been replaced with an old belt
And of course the general wear, tear, and patina that comes with being 80 years old
Despite that, The case and instrument are just beautiful in general and a great deal of fun to play! This was the accordion I learned to play on - Its size makes it a great one for beginners.
the case is included with it (something not priced by Liberty) and both the instrument and case have a lot of personality!
